We grow a wide selection of plant species and varieties that are popular for bonsai. Please note that all Pine and Japanese Maple cultivars (a cultivar is a named variety with specific traits such as 'Bloodgood' Japanese Maple) are grafted unless the size says 'layered' in the name. The regular species form of Pines and other plants are typically grown from seed or cuttings. Named varieties of members of the Cypress family (Cryptomeria, Chamaecyparis, Cupressus, Sequoia, etc.) are typically grown from cuttings. Atropurpureum is a red-leaf Japanese Maple that is grown from seed.
